notes

This project came from the idea of creating paintings with two conditions. The painting must have a lancer in it. The concept and feel of the painting must be based on a strange word. These are the results.

Pros·o·pag·no·sia: A neurological condition characterized by the inability to recognize the faces of familiar people.

Athaz·agor·apho·bia: The fear of forgetting someone or something, as well as the fear of being forgotten.

Am·au·ro·sis: Partial or total blindness without visible change in the eye, typically due to disease of the optic nerve, spinal cord, or brain.

Vo·ro·noi: A partition of space into areas, or cells, that surround a set of geometric objects (usually points). These cells, or polygons, must satisfy the criteria for Delaunay triangles. All locations within an area are closer to the object it surrounds than to any other object in the set.

Cat·ty·wam·pus: In disarray or disorder; askew.

Myo·des·op·sias: An ocular trouble consisting in the emergence in the visual field of black and white-colored dots, spots, threads or cobwebs of different shapes, that move with the eye movements.
